Pork Tenderloin

A 1-pound tenderloin will serve 2 people, a 2-pounder will serve 4

Pork Tenderloin (1.5lbs – 2lbs)

Varied Spices such as:

  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic Powder
  • Chili Flakes
  • Cumin
  • Paprika
  • Cinnamon
  • Rosemary
  • Italian Herbs

Dijon Mustard

2 tbsp olive oil

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Heat oil in frying pan over medium-high heat
  3. While oil is warming up, washing remove tenderloin from the package, rinse thoroughly and pat dry
  4. Mix together herbs (salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili flakes, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, etc.)
  5. Coat pork loin with mustard
  6. Pat herb mixture onto pork loin
  7. Test oil – if a drop of water sizzles violently, it’s hot enough, if not, crank up the heat
  8. Sear pork loin on all sides until blackened
  9. Place in glass or casserole dish and bake for 35-45 minutes, or until a meat thermometer reads 145 degrees at the center
